Jensen’s Marina is a great place to start your boating adventure because it is close to some other islands you may want to explore. The restaurant on Cabbage Key is one of the places claiming to be the inspiration for Jimmy Buffet’s song “Cheeseburger in Paradise”. Barnacle Phil’s on North Captiva is also a good spot for lunch. Cayo Costa State Park doesn’t have any restaurants but has wild, deserted beaches that are great for shelling.
